Sagis, PLLC was founded by dermatopathologists who believed pathology laboratories could do better—for physicians and patients alike. When we launched in 2012, our mission was straightforward: deliver uncompromising diagnostic accuracy paired with exceptional communication, cutting-edge technology, and truly responsive service.
We rapidly scaled operations with the launch of a full-scale, physician-led laboratory, strengthening our ability to ensure quality, maintain compliance, and deliver fast turnaround times. Yet even as we’ve grown, our founding partners remain on the front lines—reading cases daily and staying deeply connected to the diagnostic work that matters most to our clients and their patients.
Today, Sagis serves physicians nationwide and stands as one of the largest and most trusted physician-owned laboratories in the country. Our pathologists deliver comprehensive diagnostic services across dermatopathology, podiatric pathology, GI and liver pathology, hematopathology, urologic pathology, toxicology, hospital-based pathology, and cytopathology.

Made A Masterpiece is the only nonprofit organization in the US exclusively dedicated to providing social, emotional, and spiritual support for children living with all types of skin conditions and birthmarks. Because they are a completely volunteer-led organization with no paid staff, all donations go directly to supporting their mission so more children can love the skin they are in and face the world with confidence.
