Sara Faiz, MD

Dr. Sara Faiz is a highly accomplished, board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist. She received her medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at both the University of Illinois—Chicago and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston. Building on this solid foundation, Dr. Faiz pursued advanced training with a Surgical Pathology Fellowship at UTMB and a Renal Pathology Fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston.

Dr. Faiz is deeply passionate about renal pathology, research, and medical education. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, where she had the opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and renal fellows. Dr. Faiz is committed to advancing the field of pathology through her leadership, research contributions, and educational initiatives. Her extensive experience spans research publications and professional presentations, making her a highly valued asset to the Sagis team.
