Dr. Keagan Lee

Dr. Keagan Lee is the CEO and co-founder of Sagis, PLLC, a physician-owned multispecialty diagnostic pathology laboratory headquartered in Houston, Texas. Notably, Sagis has garnered recognition as one of the foremost pathology laboratories of considerable scale within the United States.

Dr. Lee has researched various topics, including melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, and sarcoma. His contributions have graced the pages of esteemed pathology journals, including Clinical Cancer Research and the American Journal of Dermatopathology. Beyond his scholarly endeavors, he holds esteemed positions as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and Texas A&M University College of Medicine. Here, he imparts his expertise in dermatopathology to aspiring medical students and residents, fostering the next generation of medical professionals.

In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Lee serves as a Delegate to the American Medical Association for the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP). Previously, he served as a Vice Chair for The Dermatology Foundation, a testament to his commitment to advancing dermatological research. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Lee cherishes quality time spent with his family, relishes enriching travel experiences, and finds joy in coaching youth sports.

Dr. Lee has performed research in a variety of topics focused around abdominal tumors, trauma to muscle tissue and angiosarcoma of which were published in Cutis, Transplantation and Clinical Cancer Research. He has also presented at the UT Health Science Center at Houston Summer Research Program Abstract Conference, the Japanese Society of Nuclear Medicine Meeting, the American Society for Apheresis 27th Annual Meeting and the USCAP Annual Meeting.
