Dr. Howard Martin

Sagis Laboratory Director, Dr. Howard “Trey” Martin, provides a focused lecture on the laboratory process and the science behind processing specimens. Attendees will gain insights into the optimal biopsy for rendering diagnoses. They’ll also learn about various special stains, direct immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry.

Howard Martin (also known as “Trey”) is board-certified in dermatopathology by both The American Board of Dermatology and The American Board of Pathology. He received his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas after which he successfully completed an AP/CP pathology residency and followed by a fellowship in surgical pathology.
