Pediatric Dermatology

Dr. Alanna Bree serves as the Director of Pediatric Dermatology Collaboration at Sagis, where she brings clinical expertise and a deep commitment to patient advocacy to advance our pediatric dermatology initiatives. She is passionate about educating others on pediatric skin conditions and raising awareness of the emotional and social impact they can have. Her goal is to help create a more understanding, accepting, and compassionate world for those with visible skin differences.
 
Through her leadership, we are proud to offer the Pedi Derm Education series. These bite-size educational sessions provide insights into pediatric dermatologic diagnoses and procedures, along with techniques for supporting the social and emotional well-being of young patients during treatment.

Dr. Kavita Mariwalla

Surgical Dermatology

Dr. Kavita Mariwalla is the full-time provider at Mariwalla Dermatology in Long Island and Co-Founder of Boards University. She is considered a key opinion leader in the field of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. She is also the former Director of Cutaneous Oncology at the Beth Israel Cancer Center in Manhattan. Dr. Mariwalla pioneered 21@21 on Instagram LIVE during the COVID Pandemic as a way for dermatology residents and Mohs fellows to continue to receive top-notch educational content when social distancing was in order.

Dr. Ryan R. Riahi

General Dermatology

Dr. Ryan Riahi is a board-certified dermatologist with a passion for both general and cosmetic dermatology. His clinical interests include skin aging, hair loss, photodamage, retinoid therapy, and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He takes a personalized approach to patient care, especially when addressing concerns like hair loss, often dedicating entire appointments to thoroughly evaluate and treat the condition.
 
Dr. Riahi has authored numerous publications, including research on anti-aging treatments, and remains actively involved in mentoring medical students. As a strong advocate for education in and out of the clinic, he regularly posts interactive quizzes that blend clinical dermatology with dermatopathology. We share these on the @SagisDermpath Instagram page to offer valuable insights for learners at all levels. New cases are posted every Sunday, with answers revealed on Monday.
