Her upcoming induction into the Podiatry Management Hall of Fame as the 41st podiatrist to receive this honor is a testament to her pioneering work and dedication to advancing podiatric care.

Her journey to becoming a trailblazer in podiatric dermatology is marked by exceptional academic achievements and an unwavering passion for healing. A graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, she seamlessly transitioned from the dance floor—where she achieved national recognition in competitive ballroom dancing—to the laboratory, driven by a desire to address her own foot injuries and ailments.
After completing her podiatric medical education at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (TUSPM) and a podiatric surgical residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown, PA, Dr. Tracey C. Vlahovic made history as the first podiatrist worldwide to undertake a one-year fellowship in podiatric dermatology, setting the stage for her groundbreaking contributions to the field.
Double board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Vlahovic’s expertise extends beyond national borders, earning her the distinction of being the first female podiatric physician in the United States to be named a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Dr. Vlahovic’s election into the PM Podiatry Hall of Fame further reinforces the high esteem of Sagis’ podiatric cohort, as our seasoned Podiatric Clinical Affairs Board members have also been inducted into the PM Podiatry Hall of Fame! Dr. Dockery was inducted into the PM Podiatry Hall of Fame on July 29, 2017, and Dr. Markinson was inducted on July 31, 2021.
