Dr. Tracey C. Vlahovic is a podiatric physician and serves as a professor at Samuel Merritt College of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, California. She is also a member of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow).
After graduating from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, Dr. Vlahovic received her podiatric medical degree from TUSPM. She completed her surgical residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network and became the first podiatrist in the U.S. to complete a fellowship in podiatric dermatology. Dr. Vlahovic currently teaches Fundamentals of Dermatology at TUSPM and is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
She is the co-author of “Skin Disease of the Lower Extremities: A Photographic Guide (HMP Communications),” “Onychomycosis: An Illustrated Guide to Diagnosis and Treatment,” and “An Atlas of Lower Extremity Skin Disease (Springer).” Dr. Vlahovic has also authored articles in peer-reviewed journals and is involved in clinical research trials for dermatological therapies and devices.
