Dr. Nnenna Agim is an experienced board-certified dermatologist specializing in both general and pediatric dermatology. After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology, she earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. There, she also completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital and a residency in Dermatology, serving as chief resident.

Upon returning to Houston, she completed a Pediatric Dermatology fellowship with Baylor College of Medicine at the world-famous Texas Children’s Hospital. She then returned to Dallas to build a Pediatric Dermatology Practice and Program. A former Associate Professor of Dermatology, Division Chief, and Program Director at the University of Texas Southwestern Dallas and Children’s Hospital Dallas, she served numerous patients while also creating educational programs for medical students and residents for over 12 years. This experience also included establishing a fellowship program that graduated other successful Pediatric Dermatologists now practicing in and out of the U.S.! Over the years, she’s lectured locally, regionally, and nationally, holding extensive authorship in these areas of expertise. Dr. Agim has been fortunate to write, review, or edit manuscripts for many major medical and dermatology journals: Pediatric Dermatology, Pediatrics, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology, etc., textbooks, popular reference resources like VisualDx, and patient-directed articles on preventive health.

Notably recognized and selected by her peers as a Top Doctor/Pediatric Specialist in Dallas for the last seven straight years and a Super Doctor of Texas over the previous five years, she now practices at North Texas Dermatology Associates. A lifelong learner and professed medical sleuth, Dr. Nnenna Agim remains interested in all aspects of dermatology, especially pediatric dermatology, family education, creative solutions for standard and complex problems, and telemedicine.
