Mike Siegel, PhD, is the Executive Director of the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA) in Portland, OR. With a background in bioengineering and nearly 12 years of experience in biomedical and academic research, teaching, and patient advocacy, he is dedicated to supporting the mission of PeDRA in advancing research that prevents, treats, and cures childhood skin diseases. Mike holds a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in Chicago, and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
Since joining PeDRA in 2018, Dr. Siegel has focused on strengthening PeDRA’s collaborative research network and expanding its infrastructure for a bright and sustainable future that ultimately improves the lives of children with skin diseases!
