Join Dr. Alanna Bree for this special dermatology Tots to Teens Tidbits (T4) session entitled, “Career Choices in Dermatology.” Dr. Bree is a distinguished pediatric dermatologist with over two decades of diverse experience in the field. From her tenure as Director of Pediatric Dermatology at a children’s hospital to her work in academic settings and her solo practice founded on direct patient care, Dr. Bree has gathered a wealth of knowledge and insight. She has also extended her expertise internationally through dermatology-based mission trips across Nicaragua, Guatemala, Kenya, and Tanzania.

More recently, Dr. Bree has focused on roles that align with her passions—teaching, mentoring, and empowering children to appreciate their unique skin through her nonprofit initiatives. In this T4 Talk, Dr. Bree explores the pros and cons of various practice models and shares invaluable career insights that extend beyond textbook learning!

Alanna F. Bree, M.D. is a double Board-Certified Pediatric Dermatologist, as well as the Founder and President of the Board for Made A Masterpiece™.  She is passionate about making the world a better place for children impacted by skin conditions and birthmarks by supporting their social and emotional needs so they can truly love the skin they are in and face the world with confidence. She also loves building relationships and collaborating with others since she wholeheartedly believes we are better when we work together and lift one another to be the best version of ourselves.

In addition, she enjoys teaching about pediatric dermatology and raising awareness about the impact of living with a skin condition so the world can be a more understanding, accepting, and loving place for those with visible skin differences. As the Director of Pediatric Dermatology Collaboration at Sagis, Dr. Bree continues to use her previous experiences and skills to grow this new area of focus for this amazing patient-focused and philanthropic organization.
