John Browning, MD, FAAD, FAAP, MBA is board certified in Pediatrics, Dermatology, and Pediatric Dermatology. He is an adjunct associate professor of dermatology at UT Health San Antonio and is Chief of Dermatology at Christus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Browning has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating skin conditions in patients of all ages. He directs a pediatric dermatology rotation for pediatric and dermatology residents as well as medical students from UT Health, Baylor College of Medicine, and the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium.

Dr. Browning obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University Honors Program; he then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston and continued his pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston followed by a residency in dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine; he was Chief Resident in 2006-2007. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric dermatology at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Browning is the director of research at Texas Dermatology and Laser Specialists in San Antonio. He divides his time between teaching, clinical research, and direct patient care.
