The mission of the Midwest Podiatry Conference (MPC) is two-fold. First, to promote the art and science of podiatric medicine, ultimately improving public health through annual continuing education programming and other professionally oriented instruction for member podiatric physicians. Second, they aim to enhance rapport and understanding among the health professions, increasing public awareness of podiatric medicine through public relations activities. The MPC consists of a partnership of eleven American Podiatric Medical Association state components (associations/societies), with members originating from various mid-western states, including Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana, to name a few.
